My grandmother and my mother both rented rooms to holiday guests, continuing a long family tradition of hospitality. After spending many years traveling for work, I am now a very happy host myself. Cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, ski touring, swimming, climbing, cycling, or running – we love spending time outdoors. Reit im Winkl is a truly special place, offering everything we need to feel happy and at home. I am passionate about sharing my love for this region and its stunning natural surroundings with my guests, helping them experience the beauty and charm of this unique corner of the Alps.

Together with my husband, I have lovingly renovated my parents’ house over the past few years, paying great attention to every detail. Our beautifully appointed rooms and holiday apartment are now ready to welcome guests who appreciate high-quality furnishings and personal hospitality. Our cozy breakfast room with its traditional tiled stove is available for guests to enjoy at any time. We offer both our rooms and holiday apartment with breakfast, featuring regional products whenever possible, locally sourced ingredients, and homemade jams. We are committed to quality in every aspect of our hospitality and are delighted to welcome guests who value this commitment. In 2011, our house was connected to the Naturwärme Reit im Winkl district heating network, and since July 2024 we have been operating a photovoltaic system and two EV charging stations. In this way, we are also contributing to preserving Reit im Winkl as a health resort with clean air.

Reit im Winkl may be a small village, but it offers everything you need in terms of infrastructure and amenities. Life here is peaceful and relaxed. Although we are a popular holiday destination, we have preserved our authentic character and Alpine traditions, which remain an important part of our cultural life. Some of the region’s most beautiful mountain hikes start right at our doorstep. The cross-country ski trail is just across the road, and the ski bus stops directly in front of the house. For those interested in culture and history, the famous Herrenchiemsee Palace, Salzburg, and Munich are all within easy reach. Whether you prefer spending a summer day at the outdoor pool or relaxing by Lake Weitsee, or enjoying cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in winter, there is something for everyone here. Reit im Winkl may be small, but it is truly a very special place.
