SauerlandBookings is a German/Dutch family business and operates from Germany and the Netherlands. We are 2 sisters and share our passion for the Sauerland and our knowledge of online marketing. This has resulted in our website SauerlandBookings growing into one of the largest and most comprehensive websites in the Sauerland region. The website has been online since 2013. Since we offer accommodation in different price ranges, we can reach a wide audience. We rent throughout the year and therefore have different seasonal prices. We offer homeowners the opportunity to rent out their holiday home through us. We are selective in adding new accommodation. The accommodations must meet our strict quality requirements. Welcome to Haus Zur Mühle, a beautifully restored historic holiday home from 1790, located in the scenic village of Elkeringhausen. This listed monument was completely renovated in 2022 and now offers modern luxury and comfort while preserving its authentic charm. With space for up to 14 guests and plenty of historical character, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Highlights: Spacious Living Areas: Both the first and second floors feature a luxurious living room with a comfortable seating area and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. Large dining tables provide plenty of space to enjoy meals together. 5 Bedrooms & 4 Bathrooms: Spread over two floors, with double and single beds. The ensuite bedroom has a sliding door connecting it to the adjoining room. Each floor has spacious bathrooms with rain showers and sinks, plus separate toilets. Large Outdoor Area: Enjoy the expansive lawn surrounding the house — perfect for children to play or for a game of football. The cozy wooden garden house, complete with fire pit and charcoal barbecue, offers a wonderful place to gather in the evenings. Historic Charm: This former watermill house is a protected monument (Denkmalschutz), making it a unique piece of history where modern amenities blend perfectly with traditional character.
