From a ski lift, within walking distance, a Downhill bike park with lift transport to the summer toboggan run, very well maintained cross-country ski trails, mountain bike / ski rental and designated hiking routes, Sankt Andreasberg and its beautiful surroundings offers many opportunities to do sports. In ca.12 km distance, lies Bad Lauterberg. THE! shopping city in the Harz! Again, there are numerous opportunities for recreational activities. (Kirchbergtherme, Vitamar swimming pool, Shopping...) Furthermore, the cities Goslar, Braunlage, Bad Harzburg in a radius of about 10-30 km, always worth a visit. And even the passionate angler gets his money's worth here.
