Living Directly in the Murgtal Valley! Our holiday apartments are centrally located in Murg, directly on the main road. On the rear side of the building, however, you will find a quiet, nature-oriented atmosphere: the Murg river flows directly alongside the house, creating a pleasant and calming sound of water, especially in the evening hours. Particularly during the summer months, this area is a true retreat, ideal for relaxing, cooling down, and unwinding from everyday life. Parking spaces are available by arrangement directly at the property or at a nearby public parking area. For daily needs, everything is located right in the town center and is within walking distance: cafés, restaurants, bakeries, a butcher, shops, hair salons, doctors, pharmacies, banks, post office, gas station, and 24-hour snack vending machines.

In 2006, I purchased and renovated this charming historic building, full of character, heart, and history. For more than 30 years, I successfully ran the “Pizza House” here, which marked a very fulfilling chapter of my life. After this meaningful period, a desire for something new began to grow within me. Time and again, I realized how special this place truly is, nestled in a beautiful natural setting that offers peace while also providing plenty to explore. This inspired the idea of creating holiday apartments and sharing this wonderful place with others. As a host in the tourism sector, I am "NEW" , but hospitality has been a part of my life for many years. It is very important to me that my guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for, in a cozy and clean apartment. Murg (79730) is idyllically located on the High Rhine, directly on the border with Switzerland, offering views of the neighboring country. France is also easily accessible. Thanks to good motorway connections and public transportation, excursions to the surrounding regions are simple and convenient. The Rhine, with its river promenade / riverside path, invites you to enjoy walks along the water. A pleasant route between Murg and Laufenburg covers approximately 4–5 km and can be shortened or extended as desired. The " MuRheNa " natural swimming pool is located directly opposite the accommodation. The "Murgtal" Trail starts right at the doorstep. Additional hiking trails, activities, museums, and a traditional Black Forest House provide a wide range of excursion options. Bad Säckingen can be reached in about 5 minutes. The sunny Hotzenwald plateau (Southern Black Forest), with its dense forests, valleys, gorges, and lakes, offers a variety of leisure and outdoor activities. The Big Europa-Park in Freiburg is reachable within 60–90 minutes. Popular excursion destinations also include Lake Schluchsee, Lake Titisee, and the Cathedral of St. Blasien.
