The bed&breakfast is located in the Leipzig countryside in a quiet environment and it offers best transport connections to Leipzig. You will reach Leipzig Fair by car within 10min and by suburban train within 5min (2 stops). Zschortau has its own train station and offers free parking. The train S2 stops at Leipzig Fair (2nd stop), at Main Station (4th stop, 14min journey time), at Lpz Market (5th stop, 18min jrn. time),... So there is a direct connection to the city centre/old town of Leipzig. Going by suburban train is more convenient and the city centre is sometimes faster to reach with the suburban train than with the tram from edge of the city. Leipzig Main Station can be reached very fast by car ( 19min, depending on traffic). Leipzig itself offers many sights and is known all over the world - not only for the Gewandhaus or the Trade Fair but for many sights more! Some are presented in the photos of our B&B. The Pension Neue Messe is located in a quiet location in a settlement. Rackwitz is a suburb of Leipzig and offers best traffic connections to the city of Leipzig due to its train-stops. Leipzig Fair is easy to reach, both by train and by car. Regular, there take place fairs (cars, books, horses, house-garden-freetime, ...), but also events like concerts and dance competitions. Football matches and major concerts (Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, ACDC, Rolling Stones ...) are held in the Arena Leipzig. Leipzig is a beloved city by people all over the world and attracts many of visitors. The most famous sight are the Gewandhaus, Zoo Leipzig, Auerbachs Keller, Mädlerpassage, Völkerschlachtdenkmal, Market, St. Thomas Church, church Nikolaikirche, Main Station, Augustusplatz and many more! Next to Rackwitz there are some lakes with circle routes and swimming lakes (Schladitzer Bucht). There are offered some water sports like sailing, sailboarding, kitesurfing, ... There is a popular amusement and theme park too, called Belantis. It is just 30min away by car and has an area of 27 hectares - so you will need at least one day to experience all of it.
