Welcome to the Scandinavian Alpine Lodge in Reichersbeuern—modernly renovated in a clean, Scandinavian style: a bright ambiance, natural materials, and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere after a day in the mountains or in the city. The apartment is the perfect retreat for couples, friends, or small families who appreciate design and comfort. The highlight: the prime location right next to the train station (about a 1-minute walk). This means you can arrive stress-free—even without a car—and enjoy maximum flexibility for day trips. Whether it’s morning coffee before heading out or a cozy evening after a day of skiing: here, arriving immediately feels like a vacation.
This place holds a special place in my heart, as I grew up in this region and the house has a long personal history in my family. My grandmother ran a guesthouse here for many years with great warmth, welcoming people from all over the world—including Canada, the U.S., and Australia. Many of her guests were happy to return time and again. I am truly delighted to be able to carry on this wonderful tradition today. What I love most about being a host is giving people a carefree, relaxing time and making them feel welcome from the very first moment. It’s important to me that my guests not only have a comfortable place to stay but also truly feel at home. Since I love nature and being outdoors myself, I know the area very well. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, surfing, or biking—I enjoy being active and am happy to share my personal recommendations for beautiful hikes, special destinations, and nature experiences with my guests. From the Scandinavian Alpine Lodge, you can explore the region’s highlights at your own pace—by car or thanks to excellent train connections. Tegernsee, Bad Tölz, and Lenggries are just a short drive away, and Munich is also easily accessible for a day trip to the city center. The surrounding area offers a full range of activities: summer at Lake Tegernsee (swimming, boat rides, mountain railways, mountain huts), fantastic hiking and biking trails, and trips to Lake Walchensee. In the winter, head to Wallberg for sledding or to Brauneck in Lenggries (about 15 minutes away) for skiing. The best part: You don’t have to decide every day whether to go to the mountains, the lake, or the city—you can simply combine it all.
