You’ll be staying in the western part of Ingelheim, just a 3-minute drive from the A60 highway, which takes you toward Mainz and Frankfurt am Main as well as to Bingen or Wiesbaden. Frankfurt Airport is about 50 km away and can be reached in about 40 minutes—please be aware of rush-hour traffic. If you’d like to go to the center of Ingelheim am Rhein, it’s about a 6-minute drive or a 10-minute bus ride. You’ll also find restaurants and supermarkets right nearby, so you’ll have everything you need for a wonderful stay in Ingelheim. There’s plenty to experience in Ingelheim am Rhein. If you’re a wine lover, feel free to sample the Rheinhessen wines and pay a visit to the “Winzerkeller.” Or enjoy the hiking paradise of Ingelheim and take part in the “Hiwwel-Tour.” But don’t worry—there are a total of 8 circular hiking trails for everyone from beginners to experts.
