Welcome to Villa Im Bongert! Villa Im Bongert is a spacious, detached holiday villa situated at the gateway to the Eifel National Park and within walking distance of Hellenthal town centre. This was the first holiday home where our love for the Eifel began. What was once a holiday home for our own use has, since 2020, grown into a much-loved holiday villa where we take great pleasure in welcoming guests from both home and abroad. The many positive reviews show that lots of guests love coming back here. The villa offers approximately 190 m² of living space as standard, featuring a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, three spacious bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a separate lounge, a utility room (with washing machine and tumble dryer), free fibre-optic internet and Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a detached garage and several free parking spaces. Surrounding the villa is a large garden with a terrace, barbecue, trampoline and various spots to relax outdoors. The standard occupancy of Villa Im Bongert is a maximum of 6 people. For larger families or multi-generational groups, the villa can be extended on request to include an extra spacious bedroom and a second bathroom on the ground floor. This allows for a maximum of 8 people (up to 6 adults and 2 children). The fourth bedroom and second bathroom are not included in the standard booking and are available only by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. Please therefore contact us before making your booking if you wish to make use of these facilities, so that we can discuss availability, options and the additional costs with you in advance. We take great care in the maintenance and upkeep of Villa Im Bongert, so that our guests can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Villa Im Bongert is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Hellenthal, less than 500 metres from the town centre. Restaurants, shops and a large supermarket are all within easy walking distance. From the villa, you can walk or cycle straight out into the countryside. Various walking and cycling routes run through the immediate vicinity, meaning you can often leave your car behind during your stay. Hellenthal lies at the gateway to the Eifel National Park and is an ideal base for walking, cycling, mountain biking, motorcycling and simply relaxing amidst the woods, hills and reservoirs. The Oleftalsperre, the Hellenthal Wildlife Reserve, Monschau, the Rursee, Kronenburger See, the Vennbahn and the Nürburgring are all within easy reach. Cities such as Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Trier and Maastricht, as well as the wine regions of the Ahr Valley and the Moselle, are also excellent destinations for a day trip. The Eifel is also a destination for every season. In spring, thousands of wild daffodils bloom; in summer, the lakes and outdoor swimming pools invite you to swim and relax; autumn paints the forests in beautiful colours; and in winter, the Weißer Stein offers winter sports opportunities when there is enough snow. Whether you’re looking for an active holiday or simply want to enjoy peace, space and nature, Villa Im Bongert is a wonderful base from which to explore the Eifel all year round.
