In the heart of the Chiemgau, between Lake Chiemsee and the Kampenwand, is the Villa Sawallisch, the former home of the Maestro and a very spacious guest house. With a total of only three suites and two vacation apartments, Villa Sawallisch is the ideal place for those seeking peace, relaxation and nature.Numerous antiques, a generous library, many pictures and memorabilia characterize the incomparable aura of Villa Sawallisch. Music lovers will appreciate the tangible closeness of the great conductor.Through the four-hectare park, which is available to all guests, forest paths lead to contemplative places, such as a small monopteros on a hill or an idyllic seating area by the pond. Everywhere you can feel peace, seclusion, nature and generosity. And directly at the west entrance to the park of Villa Sawallisch is a small, natural swimming lake!From the park, hiking trails lead to wonderful alpine huts and mountain peaks, for example, on the Kampenwand or the Hochplatte.The village of Grassau with all shopping facilities, restaurant's and cafes is within walking distance in a few minutes.
