Veddinge Bakker is an extensive hilly area close to the beach and forest. Cliffs towards the bay of Sejerø dominate the landscape. The area belongs to Oddsherred Buerne, an undulating moraine landscape from the last ice age. From the 121-high Vejrhøj you can see a total of 27 churches, including Roskilde Cathedral. It is said that a dragon lives at the foot of Vesterhøj under the mountain, guarding a gigantic treasure of gold. On Ordrup Næ's outermost peak, Næbbet, artefacts from the Stone Age have been found. In Sejerø Bay, the coastline is varied and blessed with sandy beaches. Many of them are child-friendly. You will also have a great holiday on the peninsula by bike. In nearby Ordrup you will find small, cosy cafés and opportunities for shopping. At Dragsholm Castle, the restaurant creates tasty dishes from its own organically produced ingredients.
