Feel like home in our apartment that is situated in our villa from 1928 in the quiet residential area Valby, 15 mins. from the center of Copenhagen. A nice place to return to after sightseeing or work - cook your own food, relax and sleep in down comforters :). The beds are made up and there are towels for each guest.

We are Annette and Jens Peter Kleiter. We are Copenhageners and have always traveled a lot, both before we got children and now with them. Our travel experiences range from canoe tours in Thailand, hiking in the Andes Mountains to losing money at the Monte Carlo Casino. We have crossed tea fields in Darjeeling and cycled around our own beautiful little country. On our travels we have lived in everything from tents to luxury hotels, and we have always been very aware of what in the various acommodations appealed to us and what didn’t. Our experiences and what we prefer when staying away from home is reflected in our place: clean, good value for money, simple decor, quiet surroundings and last, but not least, a welcoming smile on arrival. As the apartment is separate from our place on the ground floor, you have your own privacy and at the same time we are usually close by to help and provide good advice and tips if needed. You shall be most welcome in our house.

Kleiters Bed & Kitchen is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the district of Valby. Valby is today a part of Copenhagen, but until 1901 it was an independent village. Valby’s history dates back to the 10th century, and today, the place still has a village touch to it with its old houses, cozy cafes and specialty shops. The Carlsberg breweries have its headquarters in Valby, like Nordisk Film, the oldest film studio in the world. When you take the short trip into the center of Copenhagen, you can stroll from Rådhuspladsen, just off Tivoli, down the pedestrian street Strøget with the many shops and eateries. Do not miss the side streets of Strøget, which offers fun and different shops, old squares and cozy restaurants. At the opposite end of Strøget you find Kongens Nytorv with the Royal Theater and Nyhavn, the old canal area. From Nyhavn you can take a canal tour and have a different look at the city from the water side. This is just a fragment of the many place in Copenhagen, which offers experiences for both travelers traveling alone, traveling couples or families traveling with smaller or larger children.
