This family-run property is in the South Zealand fishing village of Rødvig, 1640 feet from the sandy Østersøen Beach. It offers cottages featuring kitchen facilities and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Wooden floors, a seating area and a private bathroom with shower are standard at Rødvig Holiday Center. All cottages overlook the large garden. Washing machines, ironing equipment and a freezer are available in the communal service building. General facilities include a snack bar, a gift shop and BBQ equipment. Children can enjoy themselves in the large playground, which features a merry-go-round. Rental bikes are also available. Company info

We, Mette and Claus, are the owners and hosts of Rødvig Ferieby. You’ll meet us at the reception or around the grounds — and you might also meet our two sons, who help out in the reception, mow the lawns, and often lend a hand during our summer barbecue evenings. We both come from backgrounds in the financial sector but wanted to try something completely different — something of our own. In 2010, we took the leap halfway by buying Rødvig Ferieby, and Mette left her job while Claus continued working outside the holiday village until 2017. Today, we both work full-time here and truly enjoy working together and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Small family-run holiday village with 26 holiday cottages and 7 double rooms. Located in an old pine plantation, where you immediately feel the peaceful atmosphere as you drive along the winding road into the holiday village.

Neighborhood info

Our area is rich in nature. We have both forest and beach within walking distance of the holiday village. Stevns Klint, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014. The Trampesti Trail, a 21 km path running along the top of Stevns Klint. The Cold War Museum Stevnsfort, offering guided tours in the underground fort. Panorama cycle routes – several scenic routes around the Stevns Peninsula. BonBon-Land, an amusement park – a children’s favorite (35 min). Copenhagen (60 min). Malmö (75 min). Our holiday village is ideal for families with children. Parents can safely let their kids play throughout the area, which is surrounded by open fields. Children can easily walk on their own from the playground to the rabbits, to the swings, and back to the house. They quickly find new friends to play with. During the summer season, don’t miss our bonfire evenings on Mondays, where we bake twist bread and pancakes – just show up! And on Wednesdays, we host a barbecue night that everyone is welcome to join (participation fee applies). Throughout the summer, we also arrange various activities for children — details can be found in the holiday village.
