The house was originally built in 1886 as the summer residence of the Baltic-German Stackelberg family, this beautifully restored townhouse blends authentic history with modern comfort. The spacious ground-floor apartment has been thoughtfully renovated for our own family, offering peaceful bedroom, generous living spaces for gathering together, and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Just outside, a magnificent 140-year-old oak, planted by the original owner when the house was completed, still stands proudly beside the entrance, while the beautifully maintained garden provides a peaceful place to unwind.
We fell in love with Haapsalu many years ago, and over time it became our second home. When we're away, we're delighted to share this special place with guests who appreciate beautiful surroundings, thoughtful details and the unique atmosphere of this charming seaside town. For us, hosting is about welcoming you into a home we genuinely care about—not simply providing accommodation.
The residence is perfectly located in the heart of Haapsalu's historic Old Town, yet on a quiet street away from the summer crowds and festival noise. The waterfront and Väikese Viigi swimming beach are just 100 metres away, making an early morning swim or an evening walk along the promenade part of everyday life. Cafés, restaurants, galleries, the medieval castle and the town's best attractions are all just a short stroll away, allowing you to experience the very best of Haapsalu while returning to a peaceful home at the end of the day.
