Stay in a modern apartment in a newly built building, located on a quiet street just minutes from Tartu city centre. Only a few hundred metres away, you’ll find the popular Emajõgi riverside swimming area and scenic walking and cycling paths that lead directly into the heart of the city. Although the apartment is compact, every detail has been carefully designed to make the most of the space. You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you’re visiting Tartu for business, leisure, or a longer trip. Combined with easy self check-in, free parking, and a peaceful atmosphere, it offers a convenient and relaxing place to stay.
As an Estonian Olympian, I have competed in 32 countries and spent much of my life traveling. Hosting feels natural to me because I understand what travelers value and need. I’m happy to share my property and do my best to make every guest feel comfortable and welcome.
The location is known for its charming riverside atmosphere, combining nature with a sense of local heritage. The Lodjakoda building itself is a traditional Estonian boat-house, designed to resemble old wooden boatsheds, where visitors can learn about the region's history of boat-building, river trade, and maritime traditions. Just around Lodjakoda, you’ll find a picturesque environment, with walking paths along the river, and the area often attracts both locals and tourists looking to explore the rich history and natural beauty of Tartu. The nearby surroundings include green spaces, where you can enjoy views of the river and nearby historical landmarks, like the Tartu University and its Old Town area. It's a great spot for those who enjoy a mix of cultural exploration and relaxation by the river.
