El Balcón del Cielo is a rural accommodation especially designed for guests looking for rest, nature and tranquillity in the Alpujarra region of Granada. We are located in the mountains, in the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada, at around 1,500 metres above sea level, in a peaceful and secluded setting. It is an ideal place to disconnect, go for walks, read, enjoy the seasonal swimming pool and admire the stars at night. Our apartments are equipped with a kitchen, fireplace, Wi-Fi, outdoor area and everything you need for a comfortable and simple stay. It is a place especially recommended for adults and couples who value calm, silence and respect for the natural surroundings. We do not accept pets or groups. The accommodation is not intended for parties or gatherings, but for peaceful stays in the heart of nature.
We are Pilar and Ramón. We live at El Balcón del Cielo and take care of this place every day so that our guests can feel at home. We know the area very well and we are happy to help our guests with genuine recommendations about hiking routes, nearby villages, restaurants, local gastronomy, activities and special corners of the Alpujarra. We are nearby if you need anything during your stay, while always respecting your privacy and rest. We want you to feel comfortable, peaceful and warmly welcomed from the very first moment.
El Balcón del Cielo is located in the heart of nature, near Trevélez, one of the most emblematic villages in the Alpujarra region of Granada, famous for its ham, gastronomy and mountain routes. From here you can discover whitewashed villages, walking trails, Sierra Nevada landscapes, hiking routes, climbing areas, horse-riding experiences and restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Alpujarra cuisine. It is essential to come with your own car, as the accommodation is located in a secluded rural setting and there is no direct public transport. Access is via a well-maintained concrete track, about 6 minutes by car from Trevélez.
