Our must: help our clients as we would like to be helped when we are away from home and family.

roomPEDRA is an intimate four apartment building which was completely refurbished making charm, functionality and comfort armonize with the history and tradition of its unique location. We want visitors to feel like locals and enjoy Santiago de Compostela during their stay in every way. We offer self made visitor and gastronomic guides as well as up to date on local events notifications. As members of the Galician Celiac Association, we are sensitive when it comes to food allergies and therefore we facilitate, if required, gluten free devices & utensils, and recommendations and goods for a gluten/lactose/nut free enjoyable stay.

Neighborhood info

The street where the building is located called ‘Huertas” (Orchard), is by the remains of the old fortress wall that surrounds the Cathedral, called “La Almendra” (The Almond). The street was named after the private gardens that were on the backyard of neighboring houses which constituted a green oasis by the Cathedral that locals would harvest and sell in the town’s market: Mercado de Abastos. It is less than 50 meters away from the Obradoiro Square where the Cathedral is located, gifting the Square with the view of the Portico de la Gloria, a stone-carved angel choir . Less than 4 minutes away on foot you can get to El Franco Street, famous for its gastronomic offerings.
