Casas Rurales Acebuche are three charming rural houses in Casas del Monte, Ambroz Valley (Cáceres, Extremadura). This is our story … CASA RURAL ACEBUCHE comes from a family dream. But let's start from the beginning, it all started in 2003, while my wife and I were enjoying a pleasant holidays in a rural apartment in Caceres, yes!, here in Extremadura! During an inspiring conversation, the kind of conversation that are taken when you are relaxed, the idea of sharing and showing the charm that has our Valle del Ambroz and our beautiful village "Casas del Monte". With great effort and enthusiasm in 2004 we opened CASA RURAL ACEBUCHE, which are three lodging houses. They are built in a place that is known as Las Olivitas, so we called it Acebuche, because it is the name of the wild variety of the olive tree. Each house is independent and has the name of an olive variety: Cacereña, Hojiblanca and Picual. Each has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, kitchen, porch, garden and terrace with wonderful views of the marsh Gabriel y Galán. In addition, we are lucky to find us just 50 meters from our famous Natural Pool. In 2011 we increased the family project and restored the beautiful stone house, family inheritance, which we called it CASA RURAL ARBEQUINA.

You get to know the Ambroz Valley: For example, horseback riding, hiking, ecological routes, 4 × 4, quad routes, cultural visits, guided mountain bike tours, bird watching, multi-adventure, canoeing, Monfragüe National Park and many more. The Ambroz Valley is a natural region, located north of the province of Cáceres and south of the Central System. It borders the districts of Las Hurdes and Tierras de Granadilla to the west, the Valle del Jerte to the east, Plasencia to the south, as well as the province of Salamanca to the north (Sierra de Béjar).
