We are Emilio and Andrea and our daughter Sofia. As a German – Spanish family, we combine both cultures and complement each other well: Serenity and Spanish hospitality with the German organization and dedication. With the Finca Doña Sofia Maria we have created a small paradise, which we open with a lot of heart for our clients. Enjoy the extraordinary weather of the “Costa Cálida” (WarmCost), which has three hundert sunny days a year. The “Finca Dona Sofia Maria” or country house is situated in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia) and is surrouonded by the best beaches of the Mediterranean Sea and Mar Menor. The community garden large over 4000 m2 is put on in the Mediterranean style. In the garden is a grill place with tables and chairs, which is shadowed of a large Pergola. …or enjoy your time in our community swimming-pool-area. The swimming pool will be open from 15 May. Our “mini-farm” is one of the favorite corners of the children who visit us. Here are living our hens.

Enter and enjoy the atmosphere of peace and tranquility of the Finca Doña Sofia Maria. As like a small village we are situated in the outskirts of San Pedro del Pinatar in Murcia in the south of Spain. We have ten ground-floor apartments of various sizes. On the Costa Cálida, the sun shines more than 300 days a year – ideal conditions for outdoor activities and for long beach days, on one of the many beaches of the Mediterranean and Mar Menor just five minutes by car. As well as the best beaches 3 to 15 km away. The distance to the beaches of the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor is 10 minutes by car. A car is recommended. In the Mar Menor, the beaches of Villananitos and La Curva (La Puntica as it was formerly known), offer the shallow depth of its waters as an incentive for bathing or the practice of any water sport. The beaches bathed by the Mediterranean are El Mojón and La Llana, which are almost 400 and 2,500 metres long respectively. The nearest beach is the Mar Menor beach (very good for children, with warm water, shallow and almost no waves). There is parking next to the beach in Lo Pagan. The Dos Mares Shopping Centre and Pinatar Park are 1 km away (open every day of the year, with cinemas, supermarkets, shops, leisure areas). The ten houses are equipped with every comfort. Each house has its own terrace overlooking the garden. Facilities include air conditioning (hot / cold), flat screen TV and satellite reception. WIFI can be received throughout the finca.

THE MAR MENOR BEACHES The Mar Menor is a salt water lagoon next to the Mediterranean Sea in the region of Murcia (Spain). Their special ecological and natural characteristics make the Mar Menor a unique natural area and the largest saltwater lake in Europe. The salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar are the most important wetland habitat throughout the region. They have therefore been declared a regional park in 1985. For the application of mud baths, the area traditionally known is that of the salt ponds, whose funds hold a treasure trove of medicinal sediments. BEACHES OF SAN PEDRO PINATAR Las Salinas, Barraca Quemada, El Mojón, Punta Algas, The Puntica, La Mota, Torre derribado, Villananitos. A bike ride around the Mar Menor, on paths, dirt roads, and even by a former trail of sheep, which always run on the waterfront is a good opportunity to discover this unique coastal area. Nature Reserve – (The salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar): The salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar are the most important wetland habitat throughout the region. They have therefore been declared a regional park in 1985. Nest here every year, flocks of flamingos and other migratory birds that make this natural area stopover on their journey between Africa and Europe. The Regional Park of the Salinas de San Pedro is located on the Mediterranean coast, unique landscape in which you can make at short distances morphological conditions: salt flats, salt lakes, reed beds, beaches, “encanizadas” (the Mar Menor has always been for fishing own set system) and grown on sand pine forests. The “Costa Calida” called the Southern Florida. Here, in less time, excellent courses were created. Within a few kilometers a lot of golf courses are available. A car is recommendable.
