The house has been lovingly updated over the years and offers a warm blend of rustic character and practical comfort. It is now due for some further renovation work, including attention to the walls, which will be carried out soon. The house still has plenty of charm and a very welcoming feel. There is air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, and please note that the house may not be suitable for guests who find stairs difficult. The kitchen is well equipped with a large six-burner hob, a large oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. And a football table too. Its central location, along with direct access to a secret garden owned by the church, makes this a truly special place to stay. The town is right on your doorstep, and the gorge walk is only five minutes away. In the evening, the illuminated church visible from the terrace creates a wonderful atmosphere. To help you make the most of your stay, we also provide a digital welcome book with lots of useful information about the house, the local area, the best walks, and our favourite restaurants and bars.
Welcome to Castril! We have been running holiday homes since 2014, in France, UK and Spain. We enjoy sharing our local knowledge with our guests in order they get the most out of their stay.
The house is very central with three restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Castril centre is one of the most beautiful villages in the area, a perfect setting for hiking/biking in the Sierra Castril, or swimming in El Portillo, fantastic local foods - or just relax on our terrace and enjoy the views of the church.
