Campanarios de Azaba Biological Reserve is the most exclusive destination settled in the middle of the Mediterranean landscape. Over 600 hectares of wilderness devoted to sustainable tourism because of a comeback of the meadows of oak and cork and its different hábitats for the enjoyment of all. A cozy lodge, traditional handmade meals, a luxurious swimming pool, a landscaped garden, veranda overlooking, free wifi access and several hides for wildlife photography offer a unique combination of comfort and wilderness in this Mediterranean paradise located only one hour far away from Salamanca (Castilla y León).
The conservation project of Campanarios de Azaba is one of the of the main nature activities developed by Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre, a spanish NGO devoted to nature conservation since 1994.
Thanks to the good location in the heart of the Iberian peninsula, Campanarios de Azaba Biological Reserve also offers the possibility to head to interesting destinations close by as Salamanca city, Tejo international river, Extremadura region, Sierra de Francia Mountain Range and La Alberca village. Because all of them are located no more that 2 hours away from Campanarios de Azaba. Furthermore the Biological Reserve is situated on the boundary between Spain and Portugal.
