A paradise of greenery and tranquility by the Duero, in the land of Castile.
A native of Madrid who fled the city to enjoy the countryside and village life. I live right there, at the other side of the building. But you won´t see me much, unless required.
Tudela de Duero may not boast grand monuments, though it does have a lovely church. It is, however, a pleasant, medium-sized town distinguished by the river that encircles it and brings a refreshing coolness (there are beaches, and some even brave a swim), the vast Santinos pine forest (right on the doorstep of our accommodation), walks along the shady Duero Canal, and our own "mountains": La Mambla and La Cuchilla.
