Casa Azul is a self contained apartment overlooking the traditional village of Las Lagunetas in the Gran Canaria mountains with 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin, a lounge with TV and free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, sugar etc, Everything is in there for a self service breakfast, juice, cereals, milk, bread, homemade jam and marmalade. Fresh fruits from our land and trees. There is a bathroom with a shower and toiletries and a private seating area. You also get to share the huge new terrace with Myself, Carl and our dog Cassie, (we unfortunately lost Bleu in July 2025 but his memory will always live on here )including an outside dining area and stunning views. There are several fruit trees that you can help yourself to depending on what fruit is ripe at the time of your visit. We live in the above apartment so are on hand to help with any information you may need. There is a restaurant and shop nearby and the nearest bus stop is a 2 minute walk from your front door. The space A typical Canarian house with a modern twist, we have renovated the whole apartment ourselves so have tried to retain some original features as well as make it a comfortable space for our guests to relax in while planning their next days adventure on the island. There is secure parking available inside the garden for cars and motorbikes, as well as space to keep bicycles secure

I love meeting new people, growing fruit and vegetables on our land, cooking and walking, especially with our dogs Bleu and Cassie. Carls passion is motorbikes so we enjoy hosting bikers. We have renovated our upstairs apartment and the Casa Azul apartment ourselves and are always looking for ways to improve the inside and outside areas. We keep chickens on our land that hopefully will provide eggs for our guests and are hoping to add other livestock at some point. Cassie is always on hand to welcome all of our guests, she is extremely friendly and loves everyone. Her favourite part is checking on our guests each morning!

Las Lagunetas is a traditional village in the Gran Canaria mountains , with amazing panoramic views, we are a 2 minute walk to a local Bar, restaurant, shop and bus stop, there is also another bar and restaurant in Las Lagunetas next to the church. There are many walks you can do from Casa Azul you dont even need to use a vehicle, there is a circular route around Las Lagunetas or you can walk virtually all the way to Cruz de Tejeda off road to see stunning views of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga. We are also a short drive to Pico de las Nieves which is the perfect place to watch the sunset, Llanos de La Pez which is a fantastic circular hike taking in Roque Nublo, Pico de las Nieves and La Ventana de Nublo, the traditional town of Tejeda which hosts the wonderful Almond tree flower festival each February and our personal favourite the highest town on the island Artenara, the Cave House museum is a must see. You will find information on all of these areas and more in the apartment. We are also a great accommodation for the night after stage 2 of The Camino de Santiago. Debbie will collect you from Cruz de Tejeda and take you back the following morning.
