Casa La Candela is a cozy home in the Sierra de Béjar, offering unmatched views of the chestnut forest that surrounds one of the most beautiful and peaceful villages in Salamanca. We have restored the house with great care so you can fully enjoy the natural surroundings, the river, the castle, and the local gastronomy. We hope you love it and find true rest in our home
I’m Laura, and I’m delighted that you’ll be discovering Montemayor del Río and its surroundings with your family and friends. You’ll be able to go hiking, take day trips, enjoy great food at the restaurant inside a Medieval castle, swim in the river, ski at La Covatilla, and explore the beautiful chestnut forests in the area. For me, it’s a peaceful haven that truly recharges my batteries.
