Casa Miramar is a traditional, village house which has been recently renovated to a high standard. The larger than average accommodation is light, bright and airy with stunning panoramic views to the coast of Mojacar, Garrucha and the beautiful Sierra Cabrera mountains. The accommodation has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and open plan lounge/kitchen diner. The large outside terraces have private pool, plancha, sunbeds, seating and dining areas for the guest’s sole use. It is the perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy the magic of the area. The patio doors of the large master suite provide both outstanding views and direct access to the pool. The master bedroom is equipped with large king size bed, seating area and air conditioning. The en-suite has a large walk-in shower and free-standing bath. Bedroom two also with king size bed and air conditioning has patio doors with views across the countryside and access to the outside terrace. The bathroom, shared with bedroom 3, has a large walk-in shower. Bedroom three is a smaller twin room with air conditioning. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with full size oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer, kettle, pots, pans etc. The dining table seats 6. The lounge has air conitioner (on a 2 hour cycle), English TV, two large sofas, and patio doors with views and access to the terrace. The accommodation is on the lower floor of the owner’s home. Free parking is attached to the property. Cleaning is provided weekly free of charge if required. The amenities of the village are just steps away. Hi, we are your hosts, Carol and Dave. We have been living in the village for the past ten years and are very much looking forward to making your stay happy, relaxed and enjoyable. We discovered Bedar on a holiday to the area in 2015, we were enchanted with the village and its inhabitants and had moved here within the year. We share our lives with Fred and Alfie, two elderly British Bulldogs. We doubt very much if you will meet them during your stay as they are very lazy and like to stay in bed most of the time. If, however, you encounter us on a drag, coax, bribe, otherwise known as a walk around the village, they like nothing better than a tickle under the chin, they just adore people and get very excited at meeting new ones. Bedar offers a much more relaxed pace of life and we enjoy nothing better than a stroll to one of the local bars and a catch up with the locals over a tapas and a drop of something nice. We would be happy to share our knowledge of the area with you and will be on hand to help you if needed. Whether you want a great base to explore the area, to lay by the pool, to sit under the stars with a bottle of something we can offer you it all here at Casa Miramar. We’ll have the kettle on ready. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Filabres mountains, you will find the quaint whitewashed village of Bedar. Casa Miramar is perfectly located for a gentle stroll to one of the village bars or restaurants, eating out amongst the locals could'nt be easier. From the village there are several hearty walks for those of you who enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the area on foot. The beautiful beaches of Mojacar and Garrucha are just 15 minutes away by car. Or if you fancy exploring further afield why not visit one of the many small coves along the coast. The Golf Course of Valle de Este is only 15 minutes drive from the property.
