La Casona del Tambor, in Calatañazor, evokes the legend of Almanzor and the echo of his drum, a symbol of life and joy. Today, in this rural retreat, we invite travelers to rediscover that joy and happiness amidst history, tranquility, and nature. A warm and traditional style envelops and captivates guests. Ground Floor: Entrance to the house from the street. This floor comprises a foyer, a small bathroom with shower, and downstairs, a spacious kitchen with all necessary amenities. Open to the kitchen is a dining area next to a reading nook facing the fireplace. First Floor: In addition to the two main bedrooms, there is a bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a bright living room, and a study. The living room features a library of books and DVDs, as well as a TV and a sound system connected to the ground floor. Attic: On the third floor of the house is a spacious 90 m² attic. It is a versatile and bright space, with two single beds and a sofa bed for two people, which can function as both a bedroom and a leisure or relaxation room.

Welcome! I was born and raised in the province of Soria, and although life has since taken me elsewhere, this land never stopped feeling like home. I know Calatañazor intimately — its cobbled streets, its history, its quiet charm — and I'm just as passionate about sharing the wider treasures of Soria: its untouched nature, rich gastronomy, and deep-rooted culture. A few years ago, my family and I decided to create a home of our own here — Casona del Tambor — a retreat where we come to slow down and recharge. I love the outdoors, whether it's hiking, cycling, or simply losing myself in the landscape, and I'm equally happy with a good book and a peaceful afternoon.
