Riodeporcos is a tiny secluded village, a haven of peace and quiet of outstanding beauty, off the beaten track. This unique setting of Ibias is situated in southwest Asturias on the frontier with Galicia. You can go swimming, fishing, hiking, cycling and/or chill out and enjoy the setting. If you are fed up with all the hassles of the big city, there this is the place for you. The first surprise will be the unique access to the village over a pedestrian-only suspension bridge over the river Navia. Once you cross the bridge, you can savour 400 metres walk to your accommodaties under the shade is a vine- strewn pergola. Don’t worry about your luggage: it will be waiting for you in your room as we will pick it up at the bridge by quad. Chao de Castro consists of a cluster of buildings of great architectural interest; these include a dovecot, a winery and a traditional Asturias barn, the house has its own vineyard, orchard and vegetable garden. Its coat of arms dates from 1794.
