This is rural and unspoilt Spain. If you are looking for lively nightlife, noise, traffic, then go elsewhere, Marbella or Nerja would be better suited to you.

We moved to Spain in 2001, to this beautiful and sunny part of Andalucia. We live in a stunningly rebuilt white mountain village, El Ferrer, just 10 minutes from the sparkling, warm, clear waters of the Mediterranean, and some of the best, emptiest beaches in Southern Spain. We are also just one hour from the amazing city of Granada, and also just one hour from the major Spanish cities of Malaga and Almeria.
