El Cortijo Paraíso offers two separate apartments set inside a secluded, tropical garden in rural Andalucia. The larger apartment of the two has a separate double bedroom with plenty of cupboard The bathroom has a hot shower, toilet and wash basin with all basic amenities such as towels, toilet roll and hand wash included. The kitchenette has everything you need plus a fridge freezer. The kitchen is self contained and well equipped with pots and pans, cutlery & crockery. There is a dining area inside and also an alfresco eating area set underneath hanging grape vines over looking the pool and beautiful palm tree filled garden. For alfresco cooking and eating there is also a traditional Spanish barbecue area to enjoy with your family or friends. The 10m x 5m stunning swimming pool may be shared at your time of booking with the small apartment guests, subject to bookings. The small apartment has a double bed and is a small studio apartment. It has a big wardrobe for cupboard space and also its own outside eating space where you can also lounge on sunbeds in privacy from the bigger apartment. There is a kitchenette with cooker and oven, fridge only, no fridge freezer currently but there is an ice box provided. There is a bathroom with shower, wash basin, toilet with towels, toilet roll and handwash provided. This space is perfect for a couple to stay, comfortable and private from the larger apartment. We have many happy returning clients who enjoy the peace and tranquility here at Cortijo Paraiso, its the perfect place to disconnect and relax but also has wifi throughout so we welcome people who work remotely too. Our house is situated in the garden grounds so are on hand if you need any help or support but also offer total privacy too if you wish. We have lots of information on the area, amazing places to visit and restaurants to eat, this area is awesome

The host lives at the property with her friendly Boxer dogs Polly Parker and Bibi Bear She is friendly and discreet but always on hand to help you with great suggestions on where to go and places to visit.

The neighbour hood is very quiet and tranquil. The property is set at the end of a small hamlet not overlooked by adjoining neighbours so is very private. There is a small bar with authentic Spanish tapas available in Venta Del Peral which is only a 10 minute walk away which has a bakery with freshly cooked bread available every day. There is also a small local shop for any possible necessities you may need for your stay. There are plenty of walks around the area along the dried up river bed into the surrounding countryside. The neighbourhood is a very Spanish community with a real sense of rural Spain. Hiking and swimming in Lake Negratin is only a 20 minute drive away with Granada city and Sierra Nevada only an hours drive. The countryside is magnificent here with beautiful villages set anongst gorges such as Castil. With so many beautiful places of interest its a gem of an area nestled on the heart of Andalucía.
