Company info

I like to receive people at home and make them feel at home, but changing the environment. I am from Extremadura, from the area, and the hotel was a dream come true; to have a business like this in my land, to be able to show the wonders of this area, the gastronomy, to get to know our people, and so that clients can enjoy this wonderful enclave. Being able to share the views, the tranquility, the landscapes, the multitude of activities that can be done, in a quiet and peaceful environment, is a privilege.

Property info

Independent and very cozy stone houses, very cool in summer, with air conditioning and swimming pool, and in winter very warm, with heating and fireplace. The beds are very comfortable and the tranquility of the area invites you to rest. The kitchens are fully equipped. Wonderful views. Ideal to be with family and friends, or as a couple, with many activities to do in the area, and be calm without risks and very calm. There are six independent rural houses within the same area, so you can all be together whenever you want, or enjoy being alone if you take independent houses and someone wants to go to rest, there are several options.

The environment is magical.... the landscapes, the views, the gastronomy, the people, and the multitude of activities that can be done in the area; from mountaineering, hiking, bird and star watching, the rut, the dolmens (it is the most important megalithic area in Europe), bathing in natural pools such as the Portagem river pool or the Codosera pools (in addition to the hotel pool) , our neighbor Portugal just 15 minutes away, towns and cities nearby with monuments and a lot of history, such as Cáceres, Mérida, Alcántara, Valencia de Alcántara, the castle of Alburquerque... in an environment of peace and nature of unique beauty .
