We offer two holiday apartments (each has its own access from the street) for rent on the central square of the historical village of Cuacos de Yuste, at only about 2 hours west of Madrid. ´Entre Fuentes´is the perfect base camp for a special holiday in surprising Extremadura. It also offers a pleasant stay in any season, thanks to the especially mild climate in the ´La Vera´ area. The apartments are built with first-class materials and the decoration is a mixture of influences from the historical surroundings and the modern comfort that nowadays is essential to have a truly pleasant stay. There is heating, ventilators and airconditioning throuhgout the apartments and one apartment also has a wood burning stove for comfortable and cosy winter. All doors and windows are wooden with shutters, and the apartments also features extra double-glazed PVC windows and doors on the first and second floor, offering excellent sound and thermal insulation for your comfort year-round. The beds in all the bedrooms can be made as super king size or 2 singles bed.

Apartment 1 bedroom: Enjoy a relaxing stay in this cozy apartment with a private entrance from the street. On the ground floor, you'll find a living-dining room with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and a guest toilet. A private staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find a spacious and comfortable bedroom, featuring a 180cm wide double bed (or two single beds), a Juliet balcony, and an en-suite bathroom. If you're traveling with more than two people, a comfortable and high quality sofa bed (140cm) is available in the living room. Apartment 2 bedrooms: This apartment, with its own street entrance and private staircase, offers an ideal setting for enjoying time with family or friends. On the second floor, you'll find a living-dining room with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (including a dishwasher), wood burning stove and access to a large balcony with spectacular views of the town square, the historic center of Cuacos de Yuste, and the surrounding green mountains. There are two double bedrooms —one on the first floor and one on the second floor— both with a 180 cm wide double bed (or two single beds) and each with its own bathroom. For groups of more than four, the high-quality sofa bed (140 cm wide) in the living room provides comfortable sleeping space. Entire house 3 bedrooms: the two apartments can be connected through an interior door.

Located in the northeast of Extremadura, La Vera boasts countless attractions: historic towns and villages, beautiful green landscapes where water is always present. Magnificent and numerous are the opportunities to swim in cool, clear waters, symbols of fertility and life. La Vera is all about gorges, pools, natural swimming areas, waterfalls, and cascades. The apartments of ´Entre Fuentes´ are truly ideal for a stay of several days or longer because they offer a level of comfort and privacy you will not easily find in a hotel or B&B. During your stay you can combine rest with activities in nature, culture, good food and physical exercise. Cuacos de Yuste, it´s a historical village of great beauty in a stunning landscape. The streets, squares, alleys and paths to the fields invite you to stroll, walk or take off on a serious hike through the hills of the Vera Valley and the mountains of the Gredos mountain range. And then of course there is also the world famous Monastery of Yuste, where emperor Charles V in the 16th century spent the last part of his life. Within the village you will find several bars and restaurants. There are also shops where you can buy fresh local products. Besides the possibility to swim in the many natural pools, you can also use the municipal pool with its beautiful and well maintained garden area, views of the village and the mountains and a bar/restaurant. Attractive all year round thanks to La Vera’s mild climate. Spring arrives early, bringing an explosion of color: fresh green foliage, flowers, and cherry blossoms in bloom. As temperatures rise in summer, refreshing swims in crystal-clear water offer relief, and at night the temperature drops, allowing for restful sleep. Autumn is long and gentle, with landscapes turning reddish and chestnut tones. Cranes announce the arrival of winter, a mild season that invites leisurely walks through its villages to discover aromas and flavors from times past. There are many hours of sunshine.
