Located in Molinaseca, town full of life, streets with houses emblazoned with shields and flowers. With great tradition in the Way of Santiago, Molinaseca is an attractive place for pilgrims and visitors. EL ACEBO, 1200 m. Of altitude, 9,5 km distant, in the Way of Santiago. It is already mentioned in the twelfth century. At the entrance you can see the famous "Fountain of the Trout". The parish church preserves a Romanesque image of Santiago. COMPLUDO: 14 km distant. San Fructuoso built here, in the 7th century, the first of its monasteries, "the Complutense". La Herrería, a national monument since 1968, is attached to the monastery. RIEGO DE AMBROS: 6,1 Km distant. It used to have a Pilgrims hospital. Today it is a little place with Parochial Church (Baroque altarpiece, work of Pedro Santín in 1706) and two hermitages next to an old fountain.
