Overlooking the Huecar gorge and offering a spa, this hotel is housed in a charming, 18th-century building set in the historic heart of Cuenca. Once an aristocratic townhouse, the Leonor de Aquitania provides an authentic setting for your stay in this small city in the region of La Mancha. It lies just a short distance from historic sights such as the Cathedral, universities, abstract art gallery and the castle. You can also easily reach the city’s iconic Casa Colgantes, which cling onto the steep sides of the deep river gorge. The hotel restaurant, set in the building’s former stables, allows you to try some of the delicious regional cuisine. You can also enjoy magnificent views over this Medieval city from the hotel’s cafe-bar. Guests have free access to the seasonal pool at Hotel Resort Cueva del Fraile, located 3.1 mi away.
