My name is Maripi, and together with my family, we have the honor of managing this charming Rural Hotel. In 2010, we enthusiastically embarked on this project with the aim of offering quality accommodation to travelers visiting this area, which at the time lacked hotel options. La Casa Encanto, as its name suggests, is a place guests leave enchanted and with the desire to return. For us, it is a true privilege to welcome, host, and share the best of our surroundings with those who choose to stay with us.

Espinosa de los Monteros is a thousand-year-old town (documented since the year 1006), rich in history and heritage. It holds the distinction of being the municipality with the highest number of historic buildings in the entire province of Burgos. The famous *Camino Olvidado* passes through the town—a route along which we have had the honor of welcoming pilgrims for over 15 years. We are located in the heart of the town’s historic center, right on the banks of the Trueba River. Just 100 meters from the center, our guests can access all kinds of services without needing to use a vehicle. Several hiking trails begin directly from the house, ideal for nature lovers. With a short drive, you can reach iconic peaks such as Picón Blanco, Castro Valnera, Pico la Miel, and Peña Lusa—all within the municipality of Espinosa de los Monteros. There are also family-friendly routes, like *La Senda del Lobo Bobo*, *La Ruta del Estraperlo*, and *El Robledal* trail. Among the cultural offerings, the *Los Monteros Museum* and the *Ethnographic Museum* stand out—perfect for diving into the local history. In summer, guests can enjoy a large natural swimming area known as *La Presa*, and just 14 km away lies the *Guarguero Waterfall*, set in a unique natural environment.
