Located in a small village called Cogollos de la Vega, just 20 minutes from the centre of Granada city, our Casa Nazari offers homely room rentals in the traditional style of the Nazari from the Alhambra. Each room sleeps two people, with a choice of single or double beds. La Casa Nazari is the home of a family of olive farmers who maintain and animate the house. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a relaxing lounge area and a terrace overlooking the rolling hills of olive farms. The bathrooms and toilets have also been renovated in the style of the Moors (Nazari) and are shared.
I am French and have lived many years outside of France with my family. We are a family of olive farmers and we produce olive oil in Cogollos de la Vega. We spend most of our time on our land which is located just 5mins from our house La Casa Nazari. On our farm we have animals, and we are currently building a barn and soon a greenhouse in order to produce our own food.
Cogollos de la Vega is 1,009 metres above sea level and is located at the foot of the natural park, Sierra Huétor.  Cogollos has been occupied by man since prehistoric times and some historians argue that its name comes from pre-Islamic topónimo Quqululus. Known for its amazing rock climbing opportunities, Cogollos boasts incredible views and weather around the town itself and in the national park. Hikers and Bikers can also enjoy the incredible trails and views around the town.   The centre of Granada is a 20 minute car ride away and there is a bus line (305) that also runs into the centre of Granada (Triunfu).
