My name is María, and I am the founder of Canarirural. More than seventeen years ago, I started this project in a very personal way, welcoming and recommending accommodations to travelers from across Europe who were looking for something different in the Canary Islands. Since then, my main motivation has remained the same: to help people truly discover the most authentic side of the Canary Islands — its small villages, landscapes, local families, producers, and hidden routes that are rarely found in guidebooks. That unique island generosity can only be understood when it is shared by someone who lives here. Today, together with my team, we personally manage more than 350 accommodations across all the islands. Each property is carefully selected one by one. We know every host, every home, and the environment that surrounds it. We support local communities because we believe that the true essence of the Canary Islands cannot be managed from afar. La Marieta is a very comfortable and at the same time accessible accommodation as it consists of a single floor on a plot of 250m2. It is a very bright house, with large windows with direct access to the outside of the house and where you can breathe the coastal air at all times. The property has 115 m2 built and has the following distribution: - 1 double bedroom of 1,80 x 2m with direct access to the garden. - 1 double bedroom with a bunk bed of two beds of 90 x 1,90 m - 1 single bedroom with a 90x 1,90m bed - 1 complete bathroom with large bathtub and bidet - Large kitchen with table and bench and fully equipped with microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven and ceramic hob. - Living room with satellite and digital TV and DVD with direct access to the garden terrace. - Enclosed outdoor space with large windows ideal for use as a work area or ideal for digital nomads who want to combine leisure with work or work while watching the children play in the pool. - Private outdoor swimming pool to take a dip any day of the year. The pool area has a railing that can be closed for safety when occupied by children. - Outdoor toilet with WC, shower and washbasin. - Viewing terrace to contemplate the views of the ocean and the island of La Gomera. - The house has a security alarm and safe. - Cleaning room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink. - The garden terrace is designed to enjoy a good barbecue outside while the children play in the house or relax on the sofa reading a good book.
