Until very recently, the property was for the private use of the owners who have recently decided to open it to the public. The cortijo dates from the end of the 19th century. Originally it was very different from the current construction, but it still retains that classic cortijo air that infuses it with some of its charm. The property has suffered constant modifications throughout its history and today has all the comforts of a modern house with central heating, double glazed windows with mosquito nets, full kitchen with all appliances, etc. . Of course, we can't forget its large wood-burning fireplace that presides over the living-dining room, as well as its large swimming pool that will delight the occupants on the Summer time... .

The property is located just 1 kilometer from the village of Alanís, a town of about 1,800 inhabitants with a great cultural heritage where among others, its medieval castle, the chapel of San Juan and the parish church Santa Maria de las Nieves in whose interior is an altarpiece of incalculable artistic value of Gothic and Flemish paintings. In the village you will find many bars, restaurants and other supply shops. The Iberian products and their wood-burning bread are outstanding. The cortijo is located within a farm of about 2o hectares of agricultural production, with henhouse, horse stable, etc. There the travelers will be in full contact with nature, knowing first hand the beauty of the Mediterranean forest. Don't forget that the farm is located within the Sierra Norte Natural Park in Seville, which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve and Geopark by UNESCO.
