Las Calendas de Atapuerca is a cozy house, located 10km from Burgos and 12km from the Sierra de Atapuerca. Located in a town, Castrillo del Val, through which the waters of the Arlanzón River run. The house is newly built, with a stone facade and a patio outside. It is distributed over two floors. On the ground floor are the living room, which is the fireplace, TV, DVD and WIFI. In addition, through a door you can access the kitchen, properly equipped with a washing machine, ceramic hob, refrigerator, oven, toaster, mixer, iron, Italian and capsule coffee machine (Nespresso), TV, tables, chairs and all kitchen utensils necessary. Through the kitchen you access the patio where the barbecue, chill out area and eating area are located. The upper floor is made up of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two beds, fully equipped with bedding and towels, TV, iron, hairdryer, and baby's cot. There is also the bathroom.

The house is located in Castrillo del Val, a town that has a beautiful square with two bars. There is also a park for children to enjoy. Regarding parking there is no problem since next to the house there is an area where you can safely leave your cars. As for the places of interest, we find a great variety due to the good location of the house. 7.5km away is the Monastery of San Pedro de Cardeña. The Atapuerca fields are located 8.2km away. 7.9km away is La Cartuja de Miraflores, very close to the Fuentes Blancas park. Arriving at the Burgos capital, which is 10km away, we can find monuments and places of interest such as the Cathedral of Burgos, the Museum of Evolution, Las Huelgas, among others.
