Set in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter beside the city's old Roman walls, The Moods Catedral is an Adult Only hotel, just 328 feet from Barcelona Cathedral and 328 feet from Jaume I Metro Station. It offers bright, modern rooms with free WiFi. Set on the first floor of a Modernist-style building, the stylish, air-conditioned rooms feature unique ceilings and include a private bathroom with a hairdryer. We don't guarantee the view of the exterior rooms as we have Cathedral, Via Laietana and Plaza Ramon Berenguer views. Plaza Catalunya Square and the Ramblas can be reached in 10 minutes' walk. In the area you will find a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The Picasso Museum and beautiful Santa Maria del Mar Church are a 5-minute walk away. You can walk to the city’s beaches in 20 minutes or take a bus from just outside.

At The Moods Catedral, we’ve aimed to transmit the lightness and simplicity of this landscape into our hostel in the centre of Barcelona, a unique and cosy urban refuge where you will feel at home in part for the conservation of the local architecture, the use of artisanal materials, typical of Spain, and a décor that is both comfortable and relaxed. We’ve taken great care with each detail to make our hotel in Vía Laietana your second home in Ciudad Condal. We achieved this thanks to some warm and understated settings that will connect you to the local essence while allowing you to enjoy the harmony and peace present through all our rooms. With a central location and great tranquillity, The Moods Catedral has two top features the urban wanderer yearns for. The architectonic value of the building we’ve transformed into a modern hostel sits at the centre of Barcelona.

The hotel is located next to the walls of Barcelona Cathedral and Plaza del Rey. The address is: Plaza Ramón Berenguer El Grande Nº 2. You will identify the square by the wall and a statue in the middle of it. The access door to the building is located to the left of the “Gloria” restaurant. You will see the panels on both sides of the front door. The hotel's bell corresponding is easily identified with the logo of “The Moods”. The Moods Cathedral is located on the 'H' floor of the left staircase of the building. You can easily see our logo on the elevator panel. When leaving the hotel, press the letter "B" next to the exit sticker, it will take you directly to the front door. More information to find the hotel: the building is located on "Ramón Berenguer el Gran" square. On Vía Laietana, opposite the square, you will see the “Veritas” supermarket.
