I opened Mas Torrencito in 2005, when nobody in Spain even had a word for "pet-friendly". The local rural tourism association called me "the dog guy" — I took it as a compliment. I have three dogs of my own and came to rural tourism after years as a teacher. What I love most about hosting is watching dogs unwind on day one, their owners switch off on day two, and nobody wanting to leave on day three. Mas Torrencito isn't a room rental business. It's a place where things happen. 🐾

Welcome to Mas Torrencito, an 18th-century rural farmhouse in the heart of the Empordà. 🐾 Here your dog isn't just "allowed" — they're a proper guest. They share every space with you: bedroom, dining room, lounge, garden and pool. The whole house. 🛏️ In your room you'll find a 120 cm dog bed, plus food and water bowls. 🍽️ Breakfast is a buffet every morning, shared with other guests and their dogs. 🐶 ALL breeds welcome, including those classified as dangerous breeds. No breed restrictions, no limit on number of dogs per room. 🍕 We don't serve dinners, but pizzas, sandwiches and nearby restaurants are available. 💶 Pet supplement ⚠️ For the wellbeing of all guests, we cannot accommodate unneutered males over 1 year old or females in heat. 📌 Double Room on 2nd floor — steep stairs, not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
