A lined country road leads you to the gravelled car park and the house. Ancient, gnarled olive trees, chairs under the thatched patio roof, cosy seating by the natural pond or in the midst of lush palm trees, rural tranquillity. All this inspires you to bring baguettes, olives and wine to the table, take a deep breath and spend the day enjoying the sun and doing nothing at all. There is also plenty of space for sun loungers on the 7,000 m² property. Or how about a glass of champagne in the circular waterfall whirlpool, even if that's not normally part of your lifestyle? The curved pool with a total length of 16 metres is definitely the highlight of Mirabó Ramonet, so much so that you don't even think about the sea at first. It's like a calm, blue lagoon in the middle of nowhere; from above you can see how much expanse lies between this rural idyll and the mountains in the distance. Living in a villa should naturally match this outdoor feel, and if a country house is advertised, it had better be a country house. Expect mullioned windows, wooden beams and rustic, even antique furniture, a well-equipped kitchen with pantry where you can roll up your sleeves and get to work, even if that just means making a big salad for the barbecue, using fresh ingredients from the market.
