A 5-minute walk from Las Ramblas and Drassanes Metro Station, Pensión Solárium is set in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella district. It has a lounge and a small terrace, where free Wi-Fi is available. Pensión Solárium has simple, modern décor. Its rooms have either private or shared bathroom facilities. The Pensión is within 10 minutes’ walk of a range of cafes and bars. If you are looking for a place very near Las Ramblas (just 100 meters) and close to the beach (15 minutes by foot) and if you do not mind walking up stairs but want a private room with shared bathrooms then we would love to have you at our hostel. Guests must show a valid ID and credit card upon check-in. Upon arrival, guests must present the credit card used for the reservation. Credit card where guest is not present, will not be accepted. The owner of the card must be present at the time of check-in. Please note that late check-in between 22:00 and 0:00 carries a surcharge of 10EUR. Towels are not included in the price, they have a price of 3.00EUR each towel, you need to ask the towel at reception. A surcharge of EUR 15 applies for arrivals after check-in hours (between 0:00 and 02:30 maximum) We do not allow bicycles or scooters in our establishment. Neighborhood info

The hostel is in the center of the city, we are surrounded by shops, restaurants and nightlife. We recommend to have a drink at the Ocaña bar located in Plaza Real. To eat the Grill Room restaurant or the Simpu Japanese restaurant, both are on Escudellers street. At about 15 minutes walk, we find the Gothic Quarter our favorite place in the city with its beautiful Cathedral of the Sea.
