Esta situada a 25 km de SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, a 70 km de A CORUÑA, a 80 km de LUGO, a 100 km de ORENSE y a 110 km de VIGO, por lo tanto es un sitio ideal para hacer turismo por toda GALICIA. A 45 minutos se puede disfrutar de la costa gallega. Mar de Frisia, situada en A Brea, es un excelente lugar para hacer senderismo, ya que el Camino de Santiago se encuentra a pocos metros. A 15km se encuentra el Embalse de Portodemouros y también Arzúa, municipio por el que transcurre el Camino de Santiago y en el que destacan productos típicos como "el queso de Arzúa-Ulloa"
