This is our home from home and we spend several months a year there. Consequently it has all the modern conveniences that you would expect in your own home such as: walk in shower, fully fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, lots of pans, crockery and cutlery, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, fan oven, coffee machine, kettle, liquidiser, toaster, smart TV with wifi, anti-allergenic bedding, leather settee, sunny patio with table and chairs, and of course, you have a massive swimming pool on the complex, along with a toddler pool and a medium pool. As our apartment is south facing it gets the sun everyday until around 3pm. We have a local agent who will meet and greet you and hand you the keys. She will have cleaned the apartment ready for your arrival and she will clean it after you leave. You will need to pay her a one-off fee of 65 euros on arrival.

We are a retired couple who have spent our lives in education. We keep active, and enjoy walking, swimming and cycling. Our refurbished apartment is used by ourselves, our children and grandchildren, and when we are not there, by you.

On the Puerta del Sol complex there is a restaurant (the Pickled Palm), two cafes/coffe shops which serve breakfast and snacks all day, a beauty parlour, a hairdresser, and pub/restaurant. It is only a short walk away to the town centre where there are a full set of shops, restaurants, pubs, sandy beaches and the sea. About half an hour's pleasant walk away on the promenade there is la Guirra Beach (next to the Sheraton Hotel), which has 3 semi-enclosed large sea based swimming areas. These keep warm all year round, and in winter, are warmer than the swimming pools.
