Here you are some infos, what are not written in tourist books (tips for hidden beaches, local restaurants-on local prices, where to go & what to do...)to make your holiday unforgattable and unique. DISTANCES-the island itself seems like small, but in the reality there are distances, highs and lows due to the geographical location of the area. A car is recommended and in front of the apartment the parking is for free. POOLS-good to know, that swimming pools in the complexes are mostly not heated, but in the north/west coast there are"natural pools"which could be more warmer, worth to visit them! A small "secret playa" 5 minutes by car with a little marina provides you more privacy than beaches in touristical area. TRANQUILITY OR NIGHTLIFE? Our apartment is situated very close to the centre but in local area, which guarantees you a relaxed stay

The apartment is ideal located if you like to be close to the activities in the downtown (5 min by car), and ideal as well to make hiking, cycling tours and trips to the nature. About the neighbourhood: The Dunes of Maspalomas is a spectacular 4km field of sand, situated in between the resorts of Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés, and deserves a place on every visitor's itinerary. The dunes and the adjacent lagoon, known as La Charca, form a protected nature reserve where visitors will be treated to sights of unique fauna and wildlife, as well as the dunes themselves. Contrary to popular belief that the dunes were created by sand blown over from the Sahara desert, the dunes were actually formed through a unique combination of sea and wind. In Maspalomas is a wide range of leisure activities: beaches, restaurants, diving, windsurfing, parasailing, fishing, hiking, climbing, mountaineering, golf, discos, nightclubs...
