This property is a traditional Andalusian cave hand carved into the mountains between 300 to 500 years ago. This memorable Moorish cave is quirky and unique and anything but the ordinary with crystals inset into the wall. You will never find two caves that are the same. The 360 degree views of the mountains and the valley are just breath-taking and you can even see it from your bed! Not to mention the sunsets behind mount Jabalcon and the beautifully clear starry night.

Zujar is a unique little village, just a 10 minute walk from the cave you can find everything you need. It has many bars and restaurants, a pharmacy, a bakery, a butchers, a bank, a petrol station and many more. The cave is located right next to Mount Jabalcon which has a beautiful chapel at the top. Zujar is one of the only Andalusian villages left where people still live in the caves. There is a bus that runs twice a day from Zujar to the neighbouring town, Baza where there is more of a variety of shops and restaurants. The closest bus stop is at the bottom of our road as you walk towards Jaufil Hostal Restaurante. Zujar to Baza: 7:45am and 14:10pm Baza to Zujar: 12:30pm and 2:45pm There is a local taxi service who can be contacted via telephone or message. The telephone number will be provided upon request. You can also use an app called BlaBla car which is for pre-booked shared car rides. They are very reasonably priced and usually use pick up points and drop off points instead of exact locations. This service is usually used for longer drives outside of town, day trips or to the airport.
