The Shed is a quiet annexe to our private home set in a fair sized garden with fruit trees and seasonal vegetables. While being quiet and secluded it is only 10 minutes level walk from the town centre where you can find some interesting bars and restaurants and frequent live music during the summer. The kitchen is small but well equipped and there are several large patio areas for outdoor dining or just relaxing. There are coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary fruit juice and milk provided. The pool is for guests only and has a thermal cover allowing use until autumn. All towels and bed linen are provided and there is a selection of bathroom toiletries. As we live on site we are almost always available to help.

Both of us are retired professionals who enjoy the country life which revolves around horse riding, dog walking and attempting to grow our own fruit and veg. We both speak reasonable Spanish and have numerous friends in the town. We enjoy hosting visitors from all over and hope they enjoy visiting us.

The town of Cehegin is very interesting historically. There are churches and palacial houses to visit but the most interesting place is the lost town of Begastri. There are also guided tours of the Old Town which was once a Templar stronghold. There are numerous walks all around and a little further afield you can take a raft down the Rio Segura and see the local rice fields.
