A typical Spanish townhouse in the 'white stone village' of Velez Blanco. A comfortable home, ideal base for cycling, walking or just chilling in the Andalucian countryside. The village has several tapas bars and a couple of excellent restaurants, local shops, including a bakery. Visit the Moorish castle, perched high above the village and the natural park of Sierra de Maria Los Velez. The natural park that is a part of a larger limestone range mountain range and a haven for wildlife in the otherwise arid area of Almeria. There are two world heritage sites in the park with the caves of ‘Cueva de los Letreros’ and ‘La Cueva del Gabar’ both containing well preserved prehistoric paintings. The house has four comfortable bedrooms, a lounge, dining room, study and two bathrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a separate laundry room. Enjoy the roof terrace, with pergola and sofas overlooking the stunning views of the mountains and countryside.

Or visit the castle on the hill with its fabulous views of the village and surrounding countryside. Further afield a trip to the beach is an easy hour drive straight down the motorway
