The apartment is in a lovely apartment building "Ihantola" which is selected the fourth most desired building to live in Finland. The pink house is built in 1908 and is situated in idyllic block in Karhupuisto (Bear Park) Kallio, Helsinki. According to the wikipedia article, Kallio has a reputation as a "bohemian" and liberal area. The apartments size is about 57m2 and it is just renovated with love, style and furnished with taste. The apartment has a living room with an open kitchen with good selection of cooking accessories. Two bathrooms (one has a shower), bedroom and a spacious entrance. Living room windows face to the street and to the park and the bedroom window to the courtyard. There are two beds in the bedroom and sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is our extra flat and its suitable for all kind of travelers.
The apartment is owned by an Finnish artist. She has also her paintings in the apartment as well Finnish design. This apartment used to be her "summer studio".
The location of the apartment is good. Its next to Kallio church, library and cafes like Bergga, Bear Park Cafe and IPI Cafe. Kallio is known for its little cafes, restaurants, bars and alternative shops. Availability for public transportations is great. Tram stops are are just few steps from the house, and the house is located only 5 stops from the main train station and the central of the city. Subway (metro) is about 200m from the house and 2 stops from the central. Also taxi and bus stops are near.
