Welcome to Harju Hill 24 Dec, a private luxury retreat hidden in the peaceful wilderness of Lapland, just outside Rovaniemi. Your stay is designed as a seamless Arctic experience where every detail has been thoughtfully prepared in advance.
Our riverside villa is surrounded by peaceful forest and flowing water, offering privacy and the quiet beauty of northern nature. Guests can unwind in the traditional Finnish sauna, relax by the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy the river views from the spacious terrace and private beach area.

Our chalet stands in Rovaniemi’s Aapiskoski area, where settlement has deep roots. Archaeological finds from nearby Tapionkylä show human presence 4 000–7 000 years ago, illustrating continuous habitation along the river valley. Our 18th‑century log house sits on a historic riverside plot, once home to the Aapiskoski “picture stone,” now exhibited at Arktikum. The area’s long cultural landscape gives Koivukangas its unique sense of time and place.
