Hossan Teeriranta is located on the peaceful shore of Lake Iijärvi, surrounded by the stunning scenery of Hossa National Park. From here, you have direct access to the area’s most beautiful hiking trails and attractions, as the turnoff to Julma-Ölkky is right nearby and the Hossa Visitor Centre is only a short drive away. The location offers a perfect base for exploring Hossa’s crystal-clear lakes, esker landscapes, and most popular sights, while also allowing you to enjoy complete peace and quiet in nature. The area features five traditional camping cabins, designed for easy and uncomplicated accommodation. Each cabin includes essential amenities such as a refrigerator, coffee maker, cooking facilities, tableware, and bedding (bed linen not included). Shower and toilet facilities are located in the main building. At Teeriranta, you can experience authentic Finnish culture in a traditional log-built lakeside sauna, whose gentle steam has been praised by many guests as the best in the world. The sauna can be reserved for an additional fee of e10 per hour and offers the perfect way to relax after a day of hiking and outdoor adventures. From the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the clear waters of Lake Iijärvi. Lake Iijärvi is one of the northernmost zander lakes in Europe. At its deepest point, the lake exceeds 50 meters, creating excellent conditions for its unique Arctic zander population. Two rowing boats are available free of charge for guests, and there is also an official boat launching site on the lake. Getting here is easy, staying here is effortless, and you’ll experience nature at its very best.
